retched excess

these guys pull numbers outta their arses: some anal-yst set a price target of $500 on aapl after it swooped over $300 yesterday. you figure? but when?

it's one of those retched [sic] wall street rituals whenever stocks are soaring: more idiots pile in, fuelling the hysteria until the balloon pops ...

reasonable excuse

the support droid had an almost reasonable answer for his pathetic response: "unfrotunately [sic] i am not an internet specialist - i am a stock trader."

a pathetic response

i flamed the support email at morgan-stanley/smith-barney & got the most pathetic response to the first point of my THE WORST BROKERAGE WEBSITE EVER rant: "we have to keep this information available because of taxation requirements ..."

what a pile of bullocks! firstly, there was never any activity in the account as my previous employer never granted me any options nor was i stupid enough to sign up for their stock purchase plan. secondly, that employment terminated three years ago. thirdly, it's the default view when i login to their pathetically awful site & remains the default whenever i try to see any of the options available on the site.

the support droid said he'd forward my other complaints to the appropriate departments.

d'oh!

THE WORST BROKERAGE WEBSITE EVER

morgan-stanley/smith-barney hosts my pathetic (submerged) stock options. a bonus insult (on top of the pointlessness of those grants) is its repulsive incompetence ...

first, it shows me an empty account. my previous employer. don't even know where that came from—i had no options from those turds nor did i stupidly sign up for their stock purchase plan: i'm not a complete idiot, just stupid enough not to remember that you can never go back. regardless, i last worked there almost three years ago—so why's that crap the default?

second, the entire thing is written in ghastly flash. it's as slow as molasses to react to any mouse movement or click & it flickers weirdly. its default font size is too small. plus it blurs the background when one of their stupid "pop-ups" is displayed. &c. but after all that, it's just a repulsive mess of a site. what did they gain by using flash? they couldn't find any html coders? what a huge ugly turd of a site!

third, i tried to find my account statement—the whole reason for going there was i got a paper statement in the post with the unsubtle suggestion i go paperless. could i find my statement? hell no! could i find the toggle that switched the statement i couldn't find to paperless? hell no! i should go paperless? on that incompetent site? yeah right!
